At Bubbles & Biscuits, caring for dogs isn't just my profession—it's been a lifelong passion. Some of my earliest memories are of helping my family care for dogs in need, providing them with the love, patience and security they deserved. Those experiences shaped not only my love for dogs but also the values that guide every interaction I have with them today.

Growing up surrounded by dogs taught me that every one has their own personality, their own story and their own way of seeing the world. Some are confident and outgoing, while others need a little extra patience, understanding and reassurance. That simple belief—that every dog deserves to be treated as an individual—has stayed with me throughout my life and is the foundation of everything I do.

For more than 12 years, I've proudly volunteered as a foster carer with Labrador Rescue, opening my home to dogs from all walks of life. Over the years I've cared for more dogs than I could ever count. Some arrived frightened and uncertain. Others had experienced neglect, medical challenges or difficult beginnings. Every dog came with a unique story, and every one of them taught me something about trust, resilience and the incredible bond between people and their dogs. Alongside fostering, I've also been actively involved in the behind-the-scenes administration and management of the organisation, supporting families throughout the adoption process and helping countless dogs find safe, loving forever homes.

After spending so many years caring for rescue dogs, becoming a professional groomer felt like a natural next step. For me, grooming is about far more than creating a beautiful haircut. It's an opportunity to improve a dog's comfort, support their overall wellbeing and provide a positive experience that helps them feel happy and confident. Every appointment is an opportunity to build trust, strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners, and make grooming something dogs don't have to fear.
